I need a way to mount my V1 on the bike.
I looked but did not find pics of the setup.

If you have them, please post pics of how you mounted your radar detector on the bike.

Thanks.

I dont have a pic yet, but I bought one of these and I worked out pretty good. I have it on a Dark Smoke HKDB (Hong Kong Double Bubble) Can't even see it from the front of the bike(dont want to piss off Johnny Law)

I will try to get some pics tonight.

Great suggestions.
And good job in the search.

I am running the HARD Heads up LED system. Light goes off in my helmet, then I look to the detector for more info. I can see it without lowering my head. Seems to work good. May be an issue if legally you cant mount to your windsheild. Some states frown apon that for some reason.

And not that I care (I really dont), But those thingies are a no go in DC and VA. You dont want some rookie whipper-snapper giving you some paying paper and taking it.

and I know it's :offtopic: but is it the Dubious Chinese Double Bubble DCDB, or the Hong Kong Double Bubble HKDB? just wondering because I have the same one.

Yes that would be the HKDB. I think its a little to tall for me as I get some buffeting from it. I put the stocker back on to do a comparison.

As far as the radar mount, no issues in Washington State. Every other car up here has a GPS sucked to the windsheild.

I dont have the stocker to put on because it was smashed up when I bought it. So you say it's better hun? I'm 509 and I dont get much annoyance, but maybe I dont know what I'm missing.

and again, sorry for the thread-jack, but i've been drinking. I'll go to bed now.
