How did you guys who have blazed this trail before me rig/connect/etc the three pistons for the rear brake so all three pistons work with one brake line? Does someone make a piece to hook the two banjo points together or did you have something custom made? If so, by who?

Someone did this by making a brake line as short as possible without kinking worries, and looping it on the caliper connecting both banjo bolts.

Tok Tokkie trusted his welding/brazing skills enough to make a solid metal double-ended banjo of the correct length to bridge both points.

Still others I have seen have drilled the passages internally inside the caliper to connect all 3 piston bores. You then would put a "dummy" bolt and washer to block off the unused port on the outside of the caliper.

I'm sure you saw how I handled it with 2 lines. It was the easiest/cheapest solution, so I thought.

from the PCV there will be a double banjo bolt, just use that on the 2 lines from the rear brake caliper to the rear master cylinder.

Some reckon the feel from the rear is too soft and replace it, but I found it to be fine. I can dig up some pix if you need them.

Put the PCV and the hard lines in the cupboard to gather dust after you've flushed thme of brake fluid :)

Ab-Oz:

A pic or two would certainly be appreciated. As I was telling Russ in a PM, stripping the bike of the linked hoses/pipes/tubing/connector/etc/etc seems like the most time consuming portion of the fork swap.

I can't see the pics, because they are blocked here at work, but it should be in post #7 here:

And when you blead the rear brakes take the caliper off and place it on the top of the disc:

It was Mello Dude who had a short braided line made to connect the 2 banjo bolts on the rear

Mello Dude delink

I like this plus then you could do the "fish the new stainless brake line through the swingarm bermod".

on mine i didn't bother to connect them , i just left the middle piston unused and it works ok , i have heard that you can replace the master cylinder with a CBR600 itme and that gives back the braking on just 2 pistons
