I sent several eBay sellers the following request:

I know you do not make any plastics for the 94-97 VFR750, but I wish you did.
The 94-97 Honda VFR750 has a massive World-wide following and you could make a lot of money providing aftermarket fairings.
Paint it like the RC30 and it will sell like MAD.
I would buy one, and so would many more.

Please consider making fairings for this motorcycle.

These were the responses:

Hi,
Thank you for your inquiry. I dont have any item available for this model.
Thanks!

I would be willing to part with a left and right belly pan. But that is all I have extra.

Anyway I am trying to get the eBay guys to make some plastics for the VFR750 (hopefully the 4th gen, as the plastics are getting harded to find.
Anyone else willing to part with some spare plastics?

Get them to "buy" your plastics with the promise that you will buy them back, as long as you get a free set once they've got the molds done !

My wife contacted one of the companies that actually make fairings in china. They said they had the pattern and would gladly sell us some but the min order was either 100 or 500 sets (can't remember which). I can see if she still has the email if you want.

If you get a chance, could you take a look at that for me? Do you know if they have them already painted or would you have to paint what you want? Also, do you remember any of the pricing they gave you per set?

Thanks

I know VFRCHUCK is in the process of fabbing 3rd gen sets out of fiberglass. He's combining the 3-4 piece front fairing into one as well as the tail fairing's multi pieces into one as well. Not sure on the production date but I know it is in the works.

I have a set of side fairings and tail fairing for my 86 project and those pieces are very well made.

Not sure why I continually see posts talking about the scaricity of 4th gen plastics.

This is simply not true! I have been to Honda HQ in Torrance many times, and many times I have seen pallets and pallets of 4th gen upper fairings, side panels, lowers, tail fairings, etc. And I mean like multiple pallets, stacked floor to ceiling.

I personally have had them pull many pallets for me of the uppers and the side fairings and personally opened probably 6-10 boxes outside in the sun as I tried to match the color of my existing pieces more closely.

But a full set is very expensive. I bought my car and parts for a complete engine rebuild for less than what the plastics cost.

There are several aftermarket companies that produce fairings for the older VFR models.  I've included links below but as previously mentioned they might still be available from Honda.  I have even bought several OEM 3rd Gen parts brand new within the last year.
