Can anyone ID the swingarm? CBR600 perhaps...Grrrr baby!

Swingarm looks like cbr600rr unit. After 2007, they are black so it should be 03-06. Could be a 1000 but there isn't enough to see. Nice bike. I really appreciate someone making it their "own".

With all the work someone did to that beautiful machine you'd think they would take an extra 5min to get the tag on straight......... :comp13:

I can't tell if it's 03-04, or 05-06, but it's a 600RR piece for sure. The 600 had the triangular look/shape on the right side where the 1000 had more of a rectangular/elliptical shape. 03-04 600RR had a removable top shock mount, after 04 it's integrated and you have to twist the shock a certain way to remove it.

I put an 04 model on my F4i, then later purchased an 05 model for another project.

Edit: Here's the 04 arm that went in my CBR - welded in that filler plate for the GP-style look... you can see the tops hock mount removed there.

CB1100F headlight cowl would do wonders for it, IMO... also IMO, I think the paint colors were wisely chosen, even if lacking a bit in execution.

Looks okay. Agree on the headlight looking like something out of the coneheads. Would have looked a lot better if they just painted the frame with the rest of the bike as well.

It's not my cup of tea either.

The swingarm is a 2004 600RR, the rear wheel is from a 1995 Fireblade.

Not my favorite either, but I do admire the rear swingarm set up ... :fing02:

With all that paintwork and swingarm swapping, one should have thought about swapping the forks too for something more modern.

I didnt care for the fairing but I liked the rest of it. That looks like it was a ton of work.
