004 my bike with the new powder coated HRC Gold wheels on

Hi guys this is the 8 spoke wheel that i bought in the bike breakers in Gloucester for 40, this including a half decent Avon tyre.
I sold the tyre and the front tyre for 43 rear and 20 front not bad hey.

I then sent the both wheels off to the powder coaters to get them bead blasted to get all the old gold paint off.
And then they had the Gold HRC colour put on.
I then bought a front Michelin PR3 tyre and it has taken me until now to find a rear, they are very rare now in the UK.
the next batch in the UK will now be end of April start of May so if you Guys in the UK see some in a tyre dealers grab them quick.
Here are some of the photos after i took it for a 30 mile run.

sorry it was not sunny, it never is this time of year in wales.

I think they all look good with gold wheels. Just not the stock gold, as it never looked, well, gold enough. Nice find! Excellent mod!

Nice wheel color & nice bike. I just picked up a whole 3G rear end for $200 including the same silver 8-spoke. I'm thinking of pc'ing it for my 5G, the gold might work....

Wheels look snazzy. I bought a blemished gold 8 spoke and powder coated it black for my 5th gen. Haven't put a tire on it yet..
