Hmmm, gotta go look at the bike, but for the moment, I'm stumped. :comp13:

Electric shift.

Not enough room in your tail is there?

Maybe you could squeeze it under the front/side cowl.

That big solenoid(the can with the spring coming out of it) needs to be mounted near the shift lever.

Can you fab a bracket that bolts/attaches to the countershaft cover?

I'm thinking the box w /the knob is to set/adjust the milliseconds of ignition cut during shifting? Or the speed of shifting?

That seems like a set-it-and-forget-it kind of deal, but I suppose if it's waterproof you could mount it somewhere sort of accessible like in/under one of the upper cowl trim panels?

The pics on the site show the solenoid mounted in the tail with the cable running down to the shifter. It don't think there's enough room on his bike due to the exhaust mod.

Use a Moty battery, and then use the extra room for the solenoid.

Hey! That sounds like a......NO. :laughing6-hehe:

Yeah Mbrane, no room under the seat from the exhaust mod.

And maybe a MOTY battery might do it! Never thought of that. Thx cruzer.

See, together we're dumber than one of us alone! (or something like that) :fing02:

I'll have to :comp13: and then :computer-noworky: and then :pissed: and hopefully :idea3: before I get it sorted out.

Details to follow when I make some progress.
