I was just goofing around online, watching various bike-related videos when I saw one of a 6th Gen painted in the Honda TT Legends livery. The video was taken using an iPhone so it didn't come out too well, but it caught my attention. A few Google searches later and I came across this AMAZING looking, brand-spanking-new 6th Gen being sold in the UK. If I were living there I'd have bought it in a heartbeat... Alright maybe not for ten grands Pound Sterling, but I'll definitely call and asked how much it'd cost to have mine painted the same!
Well, my pre-owned 6th Gen has some very minor scuffs due to a careless previous owner dropping it in the garage. Maybe I should use it as the excuse to give my ride a new outlook. Consider it my winter project... Alright that's another excuse, 'cos I live a stone's throw from the Equator. Time to find a good paint shop.

I've been considering some sort of RC30 themed paint for sometime. I like this version of the theme. I'd love to see a "head on" shot of the bike so that the nose pattern would be easier to see.
You can find pictures of a similarly-painted CBR1000RR on the Hunts website. There are a couple of "head shots".
I like the basic paint job, but I'd do it without the stickers/lettering. It's the minimalist in me.
I'd keep the Honda-related ones such as the VFR and TT Legends logo, but skip the oil (Elf), tires (Dunlop) and suspension (Showa) stickers. It'll look real "poseur" if the stickers and the items on the bike don't match up. (I am using Motul oil and Michelin tires. Who knows when I'll swap out the stock Showa items with Ohlins ones?)

Different strokes for different folks. I'd rather not camo my bike. By the way the paintjob looks more like a vinyl "skin" to me.
