I know it has been done, but can't find any threads. Can someone point me in the right direction. I would consider this if it could be done well.

Veefer800Canuck, this was an impressive install. I am hugely impressed and continue to study your first-rate install detailed in the link below:

There are others... namely, mine, and sa1713's, both of which used Laser end cans and Erion or TBR full exhaust headers. Search for our threads/galleries. Wolf is long gone, but I suspect that the guy that did ours would still be able to whip up a set or two...
Ciao,

Dan can also fabricate for 5th gen OEM headers too.
Dan fabricated my underseat pan as well. A very nice bit he made. Give him a call.
Does anyone that's built an undertail build the pans to sell? I would dearly love to put an undertail on my 98, but just don't have the time to fab the pan. I can get it coated and get the pipes fabbed, but not the pan.
I actually did a CAD drawing of my underseat pan, if you can have someone build it.
Edit. I guess I had previously posted it in the gallery. May be hard to interpret but I have a full sized version if you need.

While we're on the subject, aside from aesthetics, is there any reason to (or not to) go with a particular muffler setup? I most often see dual mufflers employed, but from a style perspective, I prefer the OEM single unit you might find under a 600RR or Duc. Assuming the geometry fits, is there any reason not to use one of these?
Know off-hand what they diameter of your muffler is? Or if I can be even more annoying, the minimum clearance between the tire and the muffler?
Interesting.. I have some maths to do..
Thanks a bunch for the quick measurements, Canuck!
Oh yes, I've read through that post. Huge help. Just wanted to get those measurements down (perhaps I missed them in your original post).

I tried a 2006 cbr600rr under-tail and had too many clearance and heat issues. I had even "massaged" the can to no avail. And I run 35mm of shock bolt spacers to raise the rear and it still rubbed on occasion.
