- Ignition switch needed 6 hours ago, raYzerman I've had various key sticking issues on bikes. First thing you need is a good flush to get any built-up dirt/crud/graphite out of the tumblers, use WD40 if you like. Then I'd use a light lube such…
- Ignition switch needed 12 hours ago, V4 Rosso It is not the key that is worn a bit? Have you tried the spare key? I have tried the spare key that is unused and came with the bike. Same result.
- Ignition switch needed I am hoping someone can assist with finding an ignition switch for my 2002 VFR. Bike has been flawless for the 91K miles I've owned it but the ignition switch is not functioning. When I try to turn the key to turn the…
- Age check in 54 years old. Second VFR. First was totaled with lots (I don't remember how many) of miles and the second, a 2002 VFR, with just over 90k miles. These things just keep going!
- 200K Congrats! Lots of great memories on that bike for sure. Although I have a 6th gen, I've always been partial to the 4th gens.
- Making The Vfr More "touring" I've got a Throttlemeister, Sargent Seat, GIVI bags (21 liter top opening and 40 liter bags for when my wife comes too), MRA windscreen with adjustable upper wing, power socket in front for GPS, GPS holder, power socket…

- 2001 VFR W/ Delkavic Tri-Oval Exhaust Looks like nothing for 6th gen.
- Mr. Steffes does the continent. Looking forward to the pics! Have a safe and exciting trip.
- How long do you stay in the saddle? I've done back to back to back 900+ mile days on my 2002 VFR. Convertibars, Throttlemeister, Vario Screen, and Sargent Seat help a lot! GPS and heated vest also help. Lately, a couple hundred miles is just fine though.
- Deep/Bass heavy exhaust? Both my 1999 VFR and 2001 RC51 had the TwoBros systems on them and they were very deep. This was my main reason for going with TwoBros. However, I believe the Micron was even deeper but I don't know if they were…
- Givi E21's Anyone? Here are some shots. Included are also a couple of pictures with the E45's also so you can make a comparison and 1 picture of the bike w/o luggage so you can see what the racks looks like. VFRMike. Attached thumbnail(s)…

- VFR1200 Upgrades Having always had hard bags on previous VFRs, luggage would be the 1st thing I made sure this bike had. VFRMike.
- 2010 Vfr1200f I'm wondering if there's a cowl for the seat. VFRMike.
- Any Reason Not To Buy 2002? Love my 2002 VFR. 48K miles later and still no problems. VFRMike
- What's The Diff Between A P Power And A P Road 2? Can someone confirm that the softer sides of the Pilot Road 2's are made from the same rubber that's on the Pilot Powers. VFRMike.
- Thinking Of Trading The Vfr Dont Ha!! I did the same thing years ago. Had a 99 VFR and totalled it. Then purchased an 01 RC51 and at about the 1 month point (and a few longer day rides) I knew I'd made a mistake. Sold the RC51 and purchased a new 02…
- The High Mileage Thread... What Do You Have On Your Vfr? Less than 100 miles till the bike turns 47k. This bike should have a LOT more miles but with grad school over past 1.5 years (and at least 2 more to go) I'm just not riding as much as I'd like. VFRMike.
- Oem Parts/ Honda Ext. Warranties I just had an opportunity to work with Dave Lusk from Direct Line Honda. The process is just as easy as Bailyrock indicates. I could not make the purchase however because of my own procrastinations. The tire I wanted to…
- Cigarette Lighter vs. Powerlet I originally purchased 2 Powerlet sockets- one front left panel and one rear set. The rear set socket is still there and powers the heated vest. I purchased the font left panel socket to power the GPS and also purchased…
