He's owned this bike since '88 it was totaled once in '93 and put away in 2000 when he picked up a new RC51. He was all fired up to put back on the street after I joined the forum. It's nice to see and hear it run again.

Sweet!!!! Looks awesome!!!!
#3
damn man that looks good, I may have to pick up a project, something like this or the supercharger kit if possible....
#4
Can you share a little more info about the bike? Mods, what the exact model is, etc?

I've wondered what a cleaned up VF500 would look like, maybe using an SV650 or Duc Monster headlight and tach/speedo cluster, and it's nice to see the radiator and such on this one you've shared doesn't look too convoluted and ugly.

Started life stock , had a run in with a Cutlas, which did'nt make it. F2 wheels and brakes, F3 forks, Works rear shock, Sudco 4-1 exhaust, front headlight off a GS 550, Barnet clutch, recovered the blue seat in black, fabbed up bar mounts, and a fair ammount of fanaglen'. All work and paint was done by my brother. Front brakes are the only thing left to do.
