- Paint Code It is exactly YR-325M Pyrite Brown Metallic. Got it from my Honda rep.
- How old are VFR owners? 43 years old, and driving my 5th VFR :woohoo:
- Main Step Heat Guard I've seen it on other models as well, but I guess it might be a little worse on this model?
- Main Step Heat Guard I have no warranty left. The bike is 2 and a half years old. I also doubt that fluid was spilled. The mechanic had this shield covered during the filling of this brake system: [image: IMG_8297.JPG]
- Main Step Heat Guard About two weeks ago I found the paint of the right hand heat shield was coming off after a thorough rinse. My bike is from October 2014, I rarely wash it and I drive through the wet winters and salty roads, but still. I…
- Picture Thread A few weeks ago, me and the missus did a 7 day, 2000 km, round trip in The Netherlands. [image: Rondje Nederland (3).jpg] [image: Rondje Nederland (16).jpg] [image: Rondje Nederland (22).jpg] [image: Rondje Nederland…
- Aftermarket Pipes For Gen 8 Looks like they've also changed the entire passenger peg as it hasn't got the luggage pin and the exhaust mount anymore. You might have to remove or replace the passenger peg in order to have it fit.
- Big H Issued A Recall On Vfr1200F And Vfr1200X Re:drive-Shafts Is anyone aware of any changes in the Service Bulletin? It seems that Honda Benelux is telling the Dealers that application of the 'Punch Mark' after replacement of the shaft is not required anymore. Reason for this…
- Aftermarket Seat Options? Did you see these yet: http://www.nicecycle...over-s/7632.htm
- Taller Touring Windscreen? Let us know how you get on with it. A little less noise on the highway, but also less wind pressure on the head. I am hoping that my bullet cam attached to the helmet will pick up less wind noise while driving, but I…
- Taller Touring Windscreen? I had the Puig Racing screen (light smoke) installed today. The lowest one of the lot from Puig, but still a little higher than OEM. I am happy with it. [image: Attached File] 20160227_153933.jpg 48.12KB 2 downloads…
- New To Vfr Don't think so either. It's a one man company. This guy does most manufacturing and final assembly in the workshop in his basement.
- New To Vfr I was gong for the looks. I like the rear wheel being more visible. Sound is still legal with the normal db killers and it was sold with a CE certificate. I have never tried the sport db killers or even riding without…
- New To Vfr Welcome wrmjones I went for the Matt Black en Carbon end cap DAM Exhaust. Looks best on the black bike :woohoo: I also have the OEM Handle Bar risers. Attached Files [image: Attached File] 2015-08-14 Motor Gepoetst…
- Brake Pads You have an 8th gen with over 30,000 miles? Wow!
- Aftermarket Pipes For Gen 8 Has anyone ever seen that rear center wheel cap before? With the VFR logo on it?
- Oem Video Needed I'd be surprised if a helmet would not fit in the left side bag. Mine fits and I do have a large head  Just make sure that the helmet bottom is facing inward, towards the wheel, and the front of the helmet is…
- Panniers. The 800 panniers fit on a 1200. I've tried it. Cheers :fing02:
- 8000Mile Service I had the 12000 km service done today. Result: Oil (3,1 litres) and oil filter have been replaced, chain adjusted, tyre pressure adjusted. Total labour was 1 hour. Chain and Sprockets, Brake Pads, and Tires are good for…
- Test Rider Video Here's another test: [video: https://youtube.com/embed/fykhnehv7hA?html5=1&fs=1]
- 8000Mile Service Mine is going on the 29th of July. 12000km since october.
- Front Wheel Sliders - The Nut On The Right From the text my guess is that you have to remove the bolt, not the axle. Put the bar through the axle and then screw it all together. I don't think the original bolts go back in place.
- Picture Thread How about this angle? [image: 2014_05_14_N470_3.jpg]
- Horn I think it is normal. I'm thinking about installing another one which is louder though, but I think it's hard to get one in the same position as original as it's a very tight fit.
- Anyone Know How To Turn Off Those Self Cancelling Indicators? Shinigami ...the self canceling isn't a problem as long as you activate it for every actual maneuver... Yes, for those of us that have maneuvers lasting exactly 120m (394ft) below 50km/h (31mph) or lasting 7 seconds…
- Anyone Know How To Turn Off Those Self Cancelling Indicators? SlideRule The two wires you're looking for are the Pink/Green and Pink/Blue which are fed to the relay thru the connector highlighted in green. I pulled the pins from the back, but the weatherproof connector was a pain…
