- Nervous About Taking A Long Trip Just dont ride while its extremely hot or cold and always have some water and food with you.
- Nervous About Taking A Long Trip My dad and I and a friend started taking long trips 4 years ago. Every time we go something happens. It's just part of the trip. First year my battery died (ended up being bad R/R), luckily happened in a town with a…

- Wierd problem with 5th gen VFR I dont know. Thats Tightwads site.
- Wierd problem with 5th gen VFR Sounds like the R/R is kicking the bucket. Mine will get hot and sometimes when I pull in the clutch, the bike will just die. It'll act as if the battery is dead until it cools down enough.
- 5th gen "coil on plug" setup. She seems sluggish now at low rpms and taking off. I'm going to hook up the stockers tomorrow and see if it's the bike or just me. It would be nice to find some that are the same resistance just for the assurance. If…

- 5th gen "coil on plug" setup. Ya, these Denso's (without flap seals) are used on just about anything. The ones on my ER-6N look exactly like the ones used on other kawa bikes and gsxr 1000's. I was google imaging them and a lot of four banger import…
- 5th gen "coil on plug" setup. 5th gens are just two wires. Out of all the bike coils I searched on ebay, the 6th gen vfr's were the only 3 prong coils. Edited July 19, 2011 by Ranger77
- 5th gen "coil on plug" setup. It never stops, does it? Moving onto my next project. Since I don't feel like modifying the 6th gen airbox, I'm just going to go this route. [video: https://www.youtube.com/embed/mKDeS2ZBm0s?feature=oembed]
- Beware the Yellow Peril I thought he was just talking about the mid pipe and cans. Would like to know what the price would be to have a set made with regular exit port position. I'm sure high but a number thrown out just so we can know. Edited…
- Beware the Yellow Peril Ya know. You could be super cool and find a machinist/exhaust guy to copy those lovely pipes since no one makes any more for us. I'm sure some would like to have a set. :bliss: Edited June 11, 2011 by Ranger77
- Beware the Yellow Peril Who here has two thumbs and is jealous? Yea. That would be me. Man. I'd love a bigger set of pipes. Edited June 10, 2011 by Ranger77

- FI light woes are a thing of the past! So electrical problems on these bikes seem to be from: 1. Over voltage/amps 2. Loose fittings (arching) 3. Maybe too small gauge wires used in harness? 4. Too many frickin connections. LOL
- FI light woes are a thing of the past! I believe its on the left side, even with front seat, behind side plastic.
- FI light woes are a thing of the past! I'll be adding some dielectrical grease to mine tomorrow.
- Surging Surging Surging! Has anybody with an ABS model every hook up an electrical reader to the ABS to see what kind of power it pulls when in use/not in use? Edited November 7, 2010 by Ranger77
- Oil Fiter Options For The Honda. My Kawasaki ER-6N is a [5] type filter. The kawasaki oem filter uses media like the yamaha filters instead of folded pleats. I'll remind myself to take measurements.
- Give Your 5th-gen A Boost... Tried to use the pm system but it wont work on my droid. Will you sell those oil cooler adapters that bolt to the oil pan seperate? How about the water oil cooler?
- Give Your 5th-gen A Boost... Well there's a nice brand new '08 ninja 650r for a tad over $5 I'm looking at and I'm adding a/c and a turbo to my vehicle so I'm a little busy with spending money and time. LOL
- Give Your 5th-gen A Boost... Is there another (cheaper) supercharger that can be utilized? Just wondering. I'm about to get an an aneurysm from not having this kit.
- Air Compressor Recommendations? Mines a HF. Friend gave it to me and I have no clue to how old it was before I even got it but I've had no problem with it. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/disp...temnumber=40400 [image: 40400.gif]
- Air Compressor Recommendations? Depends on how much room you want taken up. I have an 8 gallon oiled compressor I use. If you get a compressor compressor, make sure you install a filter and water seperater inline with the hose.
