Last 50 of 74- Is it ok for a different sized front tire? Thanks Captain...
- Is it ok for a different sized front tire? I got some tires coming from mail order and I messed up on the sku for them. Stock the 90 vfr takes a 120/70-17 tire. I have a 120/60-17 tfront tire coming. Did I screw myself or is this an OK substitution for the…
- For Sale 3rd Gen Clear clutch cover (Sebspeed made) I have for a sale a 3rd gen clear clutch cover made by Sebspeed. Unfortunately it wont work on my stock fairing 90 model. It will look great and fit on a streetfigher but not on a stock full fairing 3rd Gen VFR. Asking…
- New 5th/6th/8th gen performance header now in production in USA Finally got everything bolted on and up and running. Wow is all I can say. Much smoother, more power, and when the VTEC activated there was a MUCH smoother transition then I have ever had on this bike before. I'm a firm…
- New 5th/6th/8th gen performance header now in production in USA This freaking exhaust. Did anyone who got the last batch of headers here have any major install problems. I'm not an idiot with a wrench and this isnt my first aftermarket exhaust install but jeezus. I'm back to square…
- New 5th/6th/8th gen performance header now in production in USA ducnut, 5/5/2024 at 1:22 AM Don’t bother with Staintune. I used a FiveStar Mfg barrel clamp. WD40 liberally applied to the slip joint. You should know to never try and insert anything dry. The header shouldn’t be up…
- New 5th/6th/8th gen performance header now in production in USA Duc2V4, 5/2/2024 at 11:52 PM I took my 2Bros slip on link pipe along with our headers to a local muffler shop. He had it done in less than 10 minutes, handed him $10 cash and was on my way. It was completely uneventful.…
- New 5th/6th/8th gen performance header now in production in USA 52 minutes ago, ducnut Be extremely careful with the expanding. I took my header and Staintune to an OG exhaust dude, who gently expanded, rotated, gently expanded, rotated, etc. He probably spent 20 minutes on it, for…
- New 5th/6th/8th gen performance header now in production in USA 11 hours ago, boOZZIE No need to brake anything 😀 From memory, remove the rearset and then remove the heat shield and hang the rearset/brake with a zip tie or something. Have fun with those exhaust nuts they're SOB.…
- New 5th/6th/8th gen performance header now in production in USA Question for those who have installed the new header on their 6th gen. How do you handle the heatshield attached to the R/S rearset. Did you remove the shield with those hard to get nuts on the back of it and move the…
- New 5th/6th/8th gen performance header now in production in USA So sad to hear about sfdownhill. I never met him but we had several conversations concerning Rapid Bike and the VFR headers. All my dealings with him were top notch. He will be missed
- New 5th/6th/8th gen performance header now in production in USA Great news to hear sfdownhill. Duc2V4 thank you, thank you, thank you.
- New 5th/6th/8th gen performance header now in production in USA I think i finally would pull the trigger on a 6th gen set.
- Rescuing a '92 VFR750F damionj, 9/20/2020 at 2:28 PM Good news! Found an air box and base plate on eBay. While I wait for delivery... more cleaning. What have you all used to restore plastics? I had good luck restoring the plastics on my ZX7R…
- New 5th/6th/8th gen performance header now in production in USA Lance, Please let me know when the next batch of 5th and 6th gens are geared up to be made. I'm def ready to pull the trigger for the 2nd run of these. Real curious to hear feedback from the guys running Staintunes on…
- Group Buy: Factory Pro Shift Evo Kits I'd be interested in a 6th gen ceramic kit if that is doable for this group buy. Thanks for doing this. Nick
- Parting out a 1993 I'd be interested in the water pump assy if you still have it. Price to zip 46725?
- New donation from RC51Nick Hi RC51Nick, Thank you for your donation of --. We look forward to improving the forums with your donation. Thanks VFRDiscussion
- 5th & 6th VFR 800 Header build 9 hours ago, MadScientist Yep, that's the gasket in both of the above posts. My micron low and mig high both attach without the gasket (the inlet to the midpipe is smaller in diameter). This will be an issue for systems…
- 5th & 6th VFR 800 Header build 5 hours ago, RVFR 51Nick, do you have a photo of the Staintune there fitting up to what I believe would be the stock 6th gen mid pipe? Like you. My Staintune is staying put. I All ready know it wouldn't just slip on…
- 5th & 6th VFR 800 Header build Def. interested but would need to have final info on the 02 bungs and outlet pipe dia for a workaround for the 6th gen. I too have Staintunes and I'm not getting rid of them on my 07 RWB.
- my 07RWB project/build Appreciate the feedback on the plate. What I'll probably do is get the oem brkt installed and see what I need to do using carboard templates. You're possibly right on the fittment with the Staintunes. I need the plate…
- my 07RWB project/build 3D... I love the plate bracket you had Sebspeed make for you. Couple of questions. What did you use for the license light and is there an addition small brkt between the plate and original Honda brkt? If so is that also…
- HID Latching Relay Thank you very much!!
- my 07RWB project/build One thing nice about being in the Ft.Wayne area.... Jamie is local... Now to just get over to his shop and buy some suspension parts!!
- HID Latching Relay That's pretty cool.... If I can't find any I'll try making that mod. Can you do something similar to make a delay relay? My current setup fires the left low beam after voltage sees 13V and then 5 sec later the right low…
- HID Latching Relay Thanks JZH. I did send an email to the AV company to see if they could forward my contact information to him. So far nothing. Appreciate the info though.
- Thurn or Lights4all? I've used Lights4All for my 966 CBR900 and my RC51. Top notch stuff. Much better than "Clear Alternatives" which I had tried before. Don't know about Thurn but LIghts4All I would and will buy from again. NIck
- HID Latching Relay 6 hours ago, digitallyhip I have a never installed Tightwad latching relay right here! But I'm in Canada and you may be best off buying in the USA... It's a JatronX Model LR-13.5 Unfortunately the web site to purchase…
- HID Latching Relay This kit does only has low beams as HID's. The latching relay delays the firing of the 1st light util after the bike is started and then there is a 5 second delay before the other light fires off.
- HID Latching Relay I have a 2007 RWB that has Tightwad's HID kit installed on it. Previous owner installed the kit. Does anyone know where I can get ahold of the latching and delay relays that were part of this kit? Tightwad no longer has…
- VF500F2 Aka MBD Incubation Period At Least 52 Years Glad you bough a 51 Dutchy... You won't reget it. I got 2 along with 2 VFR's. Love them all...
- Multiple Bike Disorder (MBD) My wife says I'm done. If Honda comes out with the V4 Homologation bike I may have to thin the herd a little bit. [image: rcside.jpg] [image: minitrail.jpg] [image: vfr.jpg] [image: 0925091643a.jpg] [image:…
- my 07RWB project/build 3 hours ago, 3dcycle was not to be a insult, just the first thing that popped into my head, still looks bad ass either way. NP.. it's all good... Thanks....
- my 07RWB project/build 13 hours ago, 3dcycle imo the wheel stripes make them look like cheap trailer wheels. just my thought when I look at them quick. First time I've heard that but appreciate your honesty. Good luck with the future build on…
- my 07RWB project/build Looks great.... you'll need blue lugs with your white wheels and a Sebspeed clutch cover to really do it up right... [image: lugnut2.jpg] [image: vfr.jpg]

- 1991 Solo Seat Cowl The last one I ordered out of Britain for my 90 here in the states cost me close to 200 shipped and that did not include the pad. Very hard to find in the US. I think they were discontinued in the US around 96. I got…
- Rapidbike Evo And Racing Related Questions ! Sounds like what I'll have to do. Better start saving.... CandyRedRC46 I am running the Rapid Bike Racing plus the Rapid bike quick shifter. I went with Sato rear sets a long time ago, so it was a simple plug and play…
- Rapidbike Evo And Racing Related Questions ! I looked at the honda catalog and it looks like the only difference I can find on the rearsets (quickshifter vs non quickshifter) is nothing. The shifter is optional but the kit for that only includes the…
- Rapidbike Evo And Racing Related Questions ! Has anyone installed a Rapidbike quickshift module onto a 6th gen? If so can you post up some pictures. I have the racing module on mine and was thinking about it but I figure I'll have to change the rearsets out for…
- My Custom 4Th Gen Featured By Worldwide Bomber! Very nice article and great looking break. You have a right to be proud!!
- My Sebspeed Custom Clear Clutch Cover Experience Seb did a fantastic job job on mine and suggested using Duplicolor Metalcast paint. I also found that VHT black metallic high heat engine paint is about 99.99 percent of a match to the factory Honda engine case paint. I…
- My Sebspeed Custom Clear Clutch Cover Experience I wholeheartedly agree. Sebspeed was tops when he did my cover. A ton of compliments since I have had it installed. Top notch work and a great overall person to deal with.
- 3Rd Gen Rear Cowl: Removal Of Seat Pad I've replaced one before. You have to unlock 2 plastic push pin tangs on the pad after removing the screw. A small screw driver with a little pressure does the trick. Nick
- Vtech Buzzing Vibration I ended up turning the the rubbers around on the front seat hold downs. The top side were worn through. The vibration in the seat was alot less. I don't think it's an issue of the valves working ok. The bike runs very…
- Vtech Buzzing Vibration Not to make light BUT the battery is lock down so as not to vibrate and it is right under the seat. The battery is tied down. I'm gonna keep looking for something loose on the outside of the motor.. Thanks...
